George & Betty NaggyON STAFF SINCE 1970
Back in 1970, our mission board accepted George Naggy and his wife, Betty, into our OAC family. We can't express enough appreciation to the Lord for the tremendous encouragement and solid testimony of this couple. Since those early days, George and Betty have kept their eyes on the goal and served with rock solid determination and faithfulness in the greater metropolitan area of New York City. It has been said that New York City can be the “graveyard” of many a preacher, yet there is George out on the street and in the subway system in season and out of season, when it's convenient and when it is a hardship, when the snow is coming down and when the sun makes the downtown pavement sizzle. In the early morning at a train station, there is George passing out tracts. At the noon-time hour, there is George proclaiming the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ to those on their lunch break in the plaza. In the evening hours, there is George involved in a neighborhood outreach program. Year in and year out, the faithfulness of God's call on this man's life has kept him at the task. Truly the Lord has worked through George to beat the “graveyard” principle! George was promoted to heaven in May of 2008 after a prolonged illnes. Betty and daughter, Donna, reside in Seaford, Delaware. Latest Newsletter Anniversary: 2/11/49 George 3/29Betty 8/25 |
